Rebecca L. Johnson-Ellis

Rebecca L. Johnson-Ellis is a partner with the law firm USADebt Bankruptcy Attorneys and has practiced bankruptcy law in the Western District of Michigan since 2003. Rebecca Johnson-Ellis originally hailed from the east side of the state until going to college and law school in East Lansing, Michigan. After receiving her Juris Doctor, Rebecca moved to the Grand Rapids area and here, she developed her legal practice in bankruptcy law. Over the last 20 years her legal career has been primarily been focused in Consumer Debtor Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 Bankruptcies.   In 2009 she became board-certified in Consumer Bankruptcy Law by the American Board of Certification and has continued with that certification to present day.

Rebecca has represented thousands of individuals through the bankruptcy process and strives to provide compassionate and responsive counsel to her clients. Rebecca is active in her local bankruptcy bar and has been the secretary and member of the Federal Bar Association Bankruptcy Steering Committee since 2017. She is on the Board of Directors for the Debtors Bar of West Michigan and has been a frequent speaker at seminars on Bankruptcy.

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, spending time outdoors, and traveling.
